The Grey Fog

Written by Tanya Karina

The Fog was covering everything,
The Fog was grey that night,
That night the Fog looked as a milk,
Spilled under moony light...
Concealing Fog into dark night
And into dreamed birds' flock,
Was reading novel to the sky
For Moon, that loved Fog...

That night the Fog was covering sleepping town,
And we were quiet like Moon and stars above,
That night, I guess, he had to come here down
To try again to get back a lost love...

The Fog was lifting to the sky,
The Fog embraced the Moon.
The Fog was whispering on the fly,
That he will leave her soon...
The Moon was answering to him:
'Love's weak like candle flame...
Harsh words could blow it as dove's wings
And she could die away...'

That night the Fog was covering sleepping town,
And we were quiet like Moon and stars above,
That night, I gess, he had to come here down
To try again to get back a lost love...

Moonlight in Fog was lighting land
So, nothing could be seen...
Suddenly, you embraced me with your hand
Furtively looked at me...
I told you what I had to say:
- Forgive me for harsh words...
When I told you: 'I'll go away!'
I was with you so wrong!

That night the Fog was covering sleepping town,
And we were quiet like Moon and stars above,
That night, I gess, he had to come here down
To try again to get back a lost love...
